About the Trauma Specialty Team

The Trauma Specialty Team aims to increase trauma preparedness and response awareness and actions through enhancement of education and training. The goal and missions of the R7DHRE Trauma Specialty Team is to develop a deployable trauma team model that could respond to large traumatic events throughout the region and adequately equipping providers in rural communities to care for trauma patients prior to transfer to a higher level of care.
