Toxic Blaze TTX
On March 5, 2025, the Region VII Disaster Health Response Ecosystem held a tabletop exercise with it partner organizations throughout the region. The purpose of this exercise was to provide participants with an opportunity to test burn surge plans and resources within HHS Region 7 and the Midwest.

Assess the ability of burn centers to surge during a large-scale burn event (Information Sharing, Emergency Operations Coordination, Medical Surge).
Discuss the roles and responsibilities of the poison center during a chemical event (Emergency Operations Coordination, Medical Surge).
